These Terms of Use cover your Psi Ops account and, in particular, your use of direct messages with other players. This is version 2026-09-15 of these terms. Before you can send a direct message, the app asks you to accept the current version — again if these terms change after you last accepted — and we keep a record of which version you accepted and when.
Psi Ops is for players 18 and older. Keep to one account per person — creating duplicate accounts is treated the same as other abuse of the game. Breaking these terms can get an account restricted or suspended.
Do not use direct messages to harass, threaten, or spam another player, for hate speech, for sexual content involving minors, to impersonate someone, or for anything illegal.
Not pre-screened. We do not read or filter messages before they are sent. You can block a player and report a conversation from inside the app at any time.
Reports and restrictions. Reports can lead to a restriction that stops an account from sending direct messages. A player can appeal a restriction once; if they are restricted again later, that new restriction can be appealed too. Our staff decide each appeal.
The app refuses some words in a username. If a username is impersonating someone else or is abusive, we can remove the account holding it, which frees the name.
Psi Ops shows ads. You can choose to watch a rewarded ad for an in-game bonus or for a period without interstitial ads. Psi Ops does not currently sell in-game purchases.
Psi Ops can change or shut down, and these terms can change with it; the version and date at the top of this page change when they do. You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app, or from our web page.
